CHANGES. I have learned that in the past couple weeks. Always expect things not to go your way. That way when things don’t happen as you planned them, you will already be a step ahead and be that much closer to being back on track. A certain someone and I are planning something huge for next year. I have saved SO much money already. The temptation to buy a longboard is so over-bearing. It is something I NEED. But I know I have to save. I think I am waiting until I happen across some “extra money”. Until then, I am boardless. I have never been more excited/nervous for something like this. I am giving it my all. We all know, I want this more than anything in the world. I just realised that it has been awhile since I posted something. For those of you paying attention, I apologise. Just know that everything is going awesome, but life is still hard to put together. I can do this. I will do this. It will be the best decision I have ever made. Being scared is normal right?………..right?

on Valentines day I walked over to her and handed her a rose and said ” You are beautiful. You cry because you care, and caring is a quality many other hearts lack. My name is Raymond, I care too. Happy Valentines day”. I watched her from the window at work sitting on that bench in the middle of the mall. After about five minutes, she smelled the rose, wiped her tears and smiled really big. I watched her walk to someone she seemingly didn’t know and hand her the rose I had just gave her. She walked away alone with a huge smile on her face.
Every year, I buy 2 dozen roses and hand them to people that don’t have Valentines. I gave one to a lady at a gas station, the girl in the drive thru, and some random customers. This is why I do it. That rose had her name on it from the start. But even though I didn’t know her or why she was crying , I KNOW deep down that she saw a beauty in the world she never knew before. She walked away happy because of that small gesture. It’s funny how one stranger can make another stranger feel like the most important person in the world. But little does she know, she made me the happiest stranger on the planet.
